DESCRIPTION:Join the Adventure Institute and the South African Adventure Industry Association (SAAIA) for the launch of Experiential Therapies South Africa, a movement dedicated to exploring diverse experiential therapeutic practices within Outdoor Learning. The common denominator = Direct Experiential Engagement in the Outdoors\nAreas of focus include Adventure Therapy, Nature Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, Equine-Assisted Therapy, Play Therapy, Recreational Therapy, and Experiential Family Therapy.\nOpen to anyone interested in experiential therapy, the event will feature distinguished contributors such as Prof Johan Potgieter (NWU), Prof Marie Young (UWC), academics from the University of Cumbria (UK), as well as practitioners and experts from Africa and beyond (a full speaker list will be shared soon).\nThis interactive gathering invites participants to engage in discussions, celebrate successes, and address challenges in the growing field of outdoor and experiential therapies.\n
