DESCRIPTION:Certificate in Adventurous Experiential Learning – Camp Facilitator.\nThis course equips participants with a strong theoretical foundation, alongside practical tools for using outdoor and adventure-based experiences to facilitate reflection and behavioural change.\nThe material includes topics such as;\n– Whole Brain Facilitation (Profile completed).\n– Risk and Challenge.\n– Adventure Education.\n– Challenge Education.\n– Experiential Education.\n– Adventure Programme Characteristics.\n– Adventure applications: Recreation, Education, Development, Therapy (Trauma Facilitation).\n– Instruction – teaching – presentation skills.\n– The method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept.\n– The method and practice of teaching adult learners.\n– Reflection.\n– Ethics.\nAfter completing this qualification, students will be empowered with the skills to lead groups and facilitate learning through basic Adventure-Related Experiential Learning experiences.\nInclusive of this course students will also qualify in:\n– Trust activities\n– Problem-solving activities\n– Archery\n– Artificial Climbing Wall\n– Low Challenge Course\n– Problem-Solving Activities\n– Music and Role Play\n– Technology\nMode: Theory and Practical\nAccommodation and Catering: UCSA/VCSV Kleinmond (inclusive of cost)\nFor more information: hello@adventureinstitute.co.za\n\n \n \n \n
