Presenter: Mike Nel 

Mike has more than 27 years of international business experience in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. He is currently the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions for the Sasol Group and was instrumental in the overall implementation of the Sasol Khanyisa transaction, one of the biggest B-BBEE transactions ever done in South Africa, and Sasol’s accelerated asset divestment programme, including the divestment of a 50% equity interest in the Sasol LCCP business at Lake Charles (Louisana).

Mike has a proven track record in strategising, negotiating and implementing international business transactions and developing new business initiatives in many different cultural contexts such as Iran, Indonesia, West Africa, Mozambique, Australia, Canada and the United States.
